Dr. Danica DePass grew up in Calgary, Alberta. She began her university career in her hometown by studying Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary. She then attended Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Vision Science as well as her Doctor of Optometry degree, with honours. She gained knowledge and experience in ocular disease management during her internships at a Regional Hospital in Alaska as well as a Veterans Affairs Hospital in Utah. She also completed an ocular surgery post-operative care internship in Washington and a primary care internship in Alberta.
Growing up in Calgary, she spent a lot of time in the mountains, hiking and exploring the outdoors. Her love for the Canadian Rockies, and desire to be closer to her family, brought her back to her home province of Alberta to continue her career in Stettler. She is excited to join Dr. Blume in providing an exceptional eye care experience at Central Vision and Hearing.
